FAQs

 1. When and where is check-in? Do I have to go?

Yes! Please check-in from 4-7pm at the Brickman Center at Bryn Athyn College on Thursday, June 27. At check-in you will receive a packet with a list of your workshop signups, the schedule for the weekend, and your lanyard. This lanyard serves as your ticket for all meals, plenaries, workshops, and social events. This lanyard is required at all times (except for community worship on Sunday).

2. I can’t attend can someone pick up my packet for me?

Absolutely!

3. What should I bring with me for the weekend?

Pen, paper, and a reusable drinking bottle. If you have camping chairs or blankets that you are willing to bring to Friday night's family fun fest or the vesper services, please do so.

4. What if I signed up for a Saturday-Sunday ticket and cannot attend the Thursday check-in?

You can pick up your lanyard and packet at breakfast on Saturday at the Society Building or before worship on Saturday at the Asplundh Field House.

5. I have some questions about the teen/children’s program, what should I do?

7. I can’t remember what workshops I signed up for. Can you remind me?

You will receive a copy of the workshops you signed up for at check-in.

8. Where should I park?

Please plan to park once and walk for the day. If possible, please carpool, walk or ride bikes/scooters/golf carts. We are extremely limited on parking and would prefer to leave what spaces are available for those that are handicapped, mobility impaired, or have small children. Faculty/staff lots are available for parking. See the map for parking location and shuttle stops. If you are local to Bryn Athyn please consider not driving onto campus.  Please do not park on the grass.

9. Are there shuttles available?

Yes! The shuttles will run Friday and Saturday from 7:30am to 30 minutes after the last evening event. Shuttles run during the transition times and will ONLY make stops at the locations marked on the map. Shuttles will not go off of Bryn Athyn Church/Academy/Cairnwood Village property.

10. What is happening on Thursday, June 27?

4pm Holy Supper at the Bryn Athyn Cathedral
4-7pm Check in at the Brickman Center at Bryn Athyn College
7-7:30pm Vespers at the Bryn Athyn Cathedral

11. I have a friend that now wants to attend, how can they register?

Unfortunately, registration is closed. However, we welcome everyone to attend the community worship on Sunday at 10am at the Bryn Athyn Cathedral. The General Church will make all possible workshop recordings available for replay following the Assembly.

12. How will you know at the different events that I’m a registered attendee?

All attendees will have a lanyard that they have to wear at all events (except community worship on Sunday). We will ask attendees to leave an event and return with their lanyard on if they have forgotten.

13. If I have questions or need help during the event, what should I do?

Find a lady in pink! The Assembly Team will be wearing pink lanyards and t-shirts and will have an information desk inside the Bryn Athyn Church Society Building (where meals are served) and in the lobby of the Asplundh Field House.
